Description
River sand (also known as sharp sand, washed sand, or coarse sand) is a clean, grit-heavy sand sourced from riverbeds and washed to remove all clay, silt, and organic matter.
Unlike sticky brickies sand, river sand does not pack down tightly. Instead, its coarse, angular grains allow water to drain through it instantly, making it the most important sand for plant health and water-sensitive construction projects.
